Prairie Underground, Guinevere Hoodie, Truffle, XS Thru XL, $240, The Guinevere was conceived as a jacket that created an illusion of layered separates, of a jacket worn over a dress. As such there are
two sets of pockets, small ones that hit just below the true waist as well as two large pockets created by swags of draped muslin on
the hip. This hoodie has lots of diagonal seaming all over the body and gathered muslin insets that create a spiky, almost medieval look. This is a statement making jacket that offers a fashion forward option to our long hoodie offerings and yet it remains an easy, comfortable layer to wear over a variety of other styles.

RICHLAND, Wash. – One of the oldest clothing retailers in the Northwest is getting some new attention from fashion houses that cater to young consumers. Pendleton Woolen Mills’ new collection is hitting top fashion websites and is selling out at Northwest stores.
The new line is called the Portland Collection. Do a quick search for it and it won’t take you long to find the new threads on Anthropologie, Saks, fashion blogs and boutique websites.
They’re made out of iconic Native American and historic patterns that the Pendleton Woolen Mills have been producing for nearly 150 years from its original home in Northeast Oregon.
Mort Bishop is part of the fifth generation of his family to run the company. Bishop says Pendleton Woolen Mills’ classic style is able to transcend generations. But…
“What the design team has been able to do is to add their flavor of contemporary aesthetic to really make it viable for this new generation,” Bishop says.
Bishop says Pendleton Woolen Mills plans to double the collection next year, and sell it internationally.

The Portland Collection is a fresh perspective on Pendleton’s iconic textiles as seen throug the eyes of 3 independent and talented Portland designers: Rachel Turk, Nathaniel Crissman & John Blasioli. They are designing Iconic Textiles + Independent Design . This special collection takes the best of Pendleton’s 148 year heritage and interprets it for a vibrant, contemporary, global audience.
The collection is made in the USA and many of the pieces are versatile enough for both men and women … For example … The Reversible Toboggan Jacket in Black spans the gap between both sexes …
